Understanding the Medicare changes

The government has introduced Medicare changes that affect how often you can have a bulk-billed eye test:

If you are under 65 years old, you will now only be eligible for a bulk-billable eye test once every three years.*

If you are 65 and over, you are eligible for a bulk-billed eye test every year through Medicare.* This will help keep us across your eye health, at a time when eyes are changing rapidly
