POWER
Sometimes called sphere or strength. Measured in diopters, it is always preceded by a +plus or a -minus and typically goes up in 0.25 increments.
BC
The base curve is the shape of the back surface of the lens, which determines how the lens fits. It is usually an 8.x or 9.x number. A few brands use non-numeric base curves such as flat, median, or steep.
DIA
The diameter refers to the width across the lens in millimeters. Most brands come in one or two sizes. It is usually a 14.x number, but can range from 13.x to 15.x.
CYL
The cylinder is one of the values used to measure astigmatism. It is measured in diopters. The value describes how severe your astigmatism is, and is usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00.
AXIS
The axis is one of the values used to describe toric lenses. The axis is measured in degrees and is the amount of orientation needed in the cylinder of the lens to compensate for the astigmatism. It is usually a number between 0 and 180.

OUR CONTACT LENS GUARANTEE*
At OPSM, we offer four weeks free exchange for disposable contact lenses.
If your practitioner recommends an alteration to your prescription within 4 weeks of purchase, we'll exchange the lenses you have remaining for the new lenses. If the cost of the new lenses is less than the old lenses, we will refund the difference. If the cost of the new lenses is more we will provide a full refund so you can place a new order. 24 MONTHS MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY
OPSM will replace a lens which is defective or torn on opening due to the fault of the manufacturer within 24 months from the date of purchase.
Please ensure that the faulty lens is kept in solution, DO NOT DISPOSE THE LENS. The contact lens must be returned to OPSM within 12 months from the date of purchase in order for a replacement lens to be received. Please contact us before returning any product. View warranty here.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
Standard delivery for contact lenses is FREE within Australia. We deliver between Monday and Friday, 9am to 5pm. For more information about deliveries, click here.
OPSM offers free returns for all online orders. A prepaid returns shipping label and returns form are included with all OPSM online orders. Once you have contacted us, simply fill out the returns form, repack the item(s) in the original packaging, and post. For more information about returns, click here.
OPSM RETURNS POLICY
If your contact lens prescription changes and you still have unopened packets of lenses, OPSM may be able to exchange these for lenses matching your new prescription. The returned lenses must have been supplied by OPSM, have a reasonable time left until expiry date and boxes must not be marked. Please contact us before returning any product.
