Melbourne University Women’s Club: “I just wanted to say a big thank you again for allowing us to be a part of the OPSM Sports Vision for Clubs Program! Niki has been fantastic and a real pleasure to deal with - just last week Niki came down to present us with the Sherrin footballs - we will definitely put them to good use.”
Southern Umpires Association “We really enjoyed the experience having OPSM staff coming to training and the opportunity for our members to have a basic eye check was well received. The money and new footballs have also been put to good use and our members will benefit from these rewards.”
Rockingham Football & Sporting Club “The cash comes in very handy at this time of the season, the footballs will be of great assistance with our progress into next season and the Clinics conducted by Sarah and her team from Rockingham OPSM was greatly attended and appreciated by all Club members. The contributions generated by OPSM have resulted in our Club being able to progress into future seasons with assistance, confidence and wellbeing of players.“
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Clubs can register on www.opsm.com.au/clubs-program
When can I register our club?
Registrations open on Thursday 30th April 2015 and close at midnight on Friday 15th May 2015

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CLUB IS ACCEPTED?
After the email, you will receive a call from your local OPSM store from your point of contact for the Sports Vision for Clubs Program to arrange a time to come and meet you and talk through arrangements for the eye screenings for the club.
What is an eye screening?
An eye screening is a series of short, basic tests that provide an indication of whether a full eye test is needed or not. Near and far distance vision is checked, along with colour vision and depth perception. If any of these checks are not passed, a full eye test is recommended. If these checks are all passed, an optometrist will still recommend a full eye test if the individual has not had a full eye test in the last 2 years, or less depending on clinical need.
WHAT DO I DO AT THE SCREENING?
Your contact from the OPSM store will talk you through everything. In short there is nothing major a club needs to do. The screenings will require a few chairs and a couple of tables and a medium sized room (e.g. main club room or even a changing room).
The screenings can take place during training, so you will just need to work through the best times with your coach when a training session can take place alongside the screenings. Usually a few players will be seen at a time. It takes about 15 mins and when they are finished they can head back to the training session and the next players can have their screening.
HOW DO I RECEIVE THE FOOTBALLS?
OPSM staff will deliver the footballs after the eye screenings have been conducted.
HOW DOES YOUR CLUB RECEIVE THE CASH?
The clubs will need to invoice TLA-ESP Pty Ltd (sports marketing agency of OPSM). The tax invoice will need to include the Club’s ABN number (and GST if applicable) and bank details for where the money is to be paid via electronic funds transfer. Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of invoice. Invoices can be emailed to Alex Fraser on email@example.com
WHO DO I CONTACT TO MAKE CHANGES?
Contact your OPSM contact that you have been given to talk through an alternative date. If you ever have difficulty reaching your OPSM store contact, you can call the OPSM Sponsorship team on (02) 9815 2669 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
ARE CLUB STAFF REQUIRED TO ASSIST?
OPSM store staff will provide all eye screening equipment and run the eye screenings during club training.
OTHER BENEFITS FOR MY CLUB
A product benefit is available for all club players and members. The details of this and how to redeem it will be given to you by your OPSM store contact.

* An eye screening is not a substitute for an eye test. Optometrists recommend an eye test at least once every two years or more frequently depending on clinical need.
